It is important that the attorney handling your case have actual and substantial trial experience. Owen Murphy has successfully tried numerous cases before judge and jury, and takes on every case with a commitment to taking that case to trial if that is what is necessary to obtain a fair and just result.

Owen Murphy is a cum laude graduate of Mercer Law School.  Mr. Murphy was a member of the Mercer Law Review as well as the Moot Court Board, and is a member of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society for his achievements at Mercer Law School.  Owen Murphy began his legal career in 1999 with the Savannah law firm of Inglesby Falligant, was named partner in 2005 and was later elected as the managing partner of the Firm.  In 2012, Mr. Murphy started his own law firm, Owen Murphy, P.C., and continues to focus his practice in the areas of personal injury and complex business litigation.

Mr. Murphy is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association, the Georgia Bar Association and the Savannah Bar Association.  Mr. Murphy was six times selected as one of Georgia’s “Super Lawyers-Rising Stars” by Atlanta magazine, an honor received by fewer than 5% of Georgia’s attorneys each year.  He is a past-chair and frequent lecturer at legal seminars and has testified before the Georgia State Legislature regarding the adoption of new legislation.  He is active in the community and helped lead the Jenkins High School mock trial team to consecutive appearances at the State championship competition in Atlanta, Georgia.
